Thanks for your submission. I also think laptop computers have grown to be more and more popular these days, and now tend to be the only kind of computer used in a household. This is because at the same time actually becoming more and more affordable, their processing power keeps growing to the point where they are as strong as desktop computers out of just a few years ago.

We had movers come in to empty our house. There wasn’t a lot of furniture because we took half of it when we moved to an assisted living place and our family also took a lot of the big items. What was left of the house will be auctioned off and not moved to another location. My son was there to oversee the move but when I talked to him he said he didn’t pay attention to what they were doing. My son said while he was there they ‘supposedly’ made 2 trips to the dump 2 large trucks full. It was supposedly junk but nothing we had was junk and the contents of the house at that point wouldn’t even fill one room. I think they stole from us plus they charged $3,100 for the day’s work. My husband says what’s done is done & does not want to pursue it and my son says call the guy. (I don’t think he would return my call.). I think the guy cheated us because there were so many things of value missing from the list we received — a custom made d.r. table and 6 chairs, a brass bed, custom made sewing room furniture my husband made, a loft full of furniture consisting of 2 sofas , 2 tables and a coffee table, a brand new sofa bed which was probably used a half a dozen times, expensive luggage along with a bunch of little but valuable items which would be worth at least a couple of thousands of dollars. The stuff on the list contained hardly anything of value; an example was a worthless doll house. Also given the percentage taken when auctioned off we are left with practically nothing. What can we do when we know we’ve been taken big time. Thanks and I hope to hear from you.
