I like that you suggested in packing items that do not require any expert packing for a cost-saving technique. I have a friend that moving soon to a new department and he was thinking about doing the packing by himself. I’m going to share your advice with him so that he can save time doing it.

Thanks for the suggestion to research moving companies to ensure we’re working with reputable and reliable moving companies. My husband and I are moving across the state in two months since he’s being relocated for work. We definitely want to be sure our belongings are taken care of, so we’ll be sure to follow your advice. Hopefully we can find a great moving service in our area!

When it’s time for me to move, I’ll for sure go with a professional mover. As you said, this can come with many of the listed services. I’d for sure want to hire someone that would be able to help with the packing and unpacking.

Thanks for the tip to leave our kids with a family member or babysitter on moving day in order to ensure everyone’s safety. My husband and I will be moving to a larger home soon because we have a new baby on the way and will need more space. I’m glad I read your article because finding someone to watch our daughter will keep her out of the way of the movers and should really simplify things.

I might be moving soon, so it was helpful when you said to get at least 3 different price estimates. Another great tip I’ve heard is that one should also try to negotiate with the moving company. Thanks for all the great tips for choosing a moving service.
